Incat Marketing Pty Ltd is responsible for the marketing, promotion and branding of the Incat product, organisation and advancement of its personnel. The company is also responsible for all corporate public affairs and media liaison. The aim is to foster long term relationships with its customers and to establish solid working relationships between Incat the ship builder and the customer. Incat recognises the importance and role of print and electronic media for communication between a manufacturer, its suppliers and customer base. Incat Marketing Pty Ltd established an in house design team to produce the marketing publications required by Incat Tasmania Pty Ltd, the shipbuilding arm of Incat. Through the inclusion of paid advertising, the company was able to offset the high printing costs whilst still maintaining a good editorial/advertising mix, offering maximum value to its readership and its advertisers. The publications have clearly come a long way with the vibrant, eye catching designs; an impressive achievement for a company for whom publishing is not its primary business or concern.
